Canvas Bag Washing and Care Instructions
Correct Washing Method:
First dissolve the detergent in cold water, then soak the bag in the solution.
Do not pour the detergent directly onto the canvas bag, as it may easily cause localized discoloration.
Washing White or Off-White Canvas Bags:
If it is a white or off-white canvas bag, make sure to rinse off all detergent thoroughly.
Failure to do so may result in yellow stains after drying.
Alternatively, you can place absorbent paper on the surface of the bag while drying. The paper will absorb unclean washing water (this method can also be used for white canvas shoes).
Precautions:
- Dark Colors (black, red, wine red, navy blue, etc.): Canvas fabrics may fade slightly. For first-time use, it is recommended not to wear light-colored clothing. After multiple washes, fading will gradually diminish or stop.
- Canvas bags are prone to discoloration. Wash them separately. Do not use detergents with strong bleaching properties (customers are recommended to use neutral detergents, like blue moon laundry detergent, as mentioned).
- Avoid soaking the bag in water for too long. Hand wash whenever possible. Avoid machine washing.
- Do not use a brush to scrub the bag. Brushing may damage the fabric, printed designs, and leather parts.
- Avoid exposure to sunlight. It is recommended to dry the bag in a cool and ventilated area.
